Source checks

I do not have a personal hour-count in the match. What I did was read the store progression rules and the 1.0.10 notes, then line them up against the first-week Steam threads. The safe starting plan is a custom match with bots, because the store explicitly allows you to pick the map, the mode, and the bot fill. Public matches were drawing complaints about bots and about dying as soon as you spawned. The 12 October patch says spawn protection was added. Install that update before you judge the spawns.

Editorial suggestion for a first session

This is an editorial suggestion, not a tested leveling method: start with a custom bot match. Choose a mode whose objective you understand; GangBang scores team kills, while Turf War scores held territory. Steam confirms that custom matches let you choose a map, mode, settings and bots.

How unlocks are described

Official rules: play matches to raise reputation and unlock weapons and equipment, complete weapon challenges for attachments, and get kills with a gun for its skins. We have not verified the fastest leveling method. The public sources checked do not supply an XP table or a sequel level cap.

Problems people hit in week one

Threads mention crashes on start, missing audio, audio that is too loud, and a level reset. Patch 1.0.10 says it fixed progression display, loadout presets, ping display, and some drive-by spots. It does not claim every crash is gone. If the game still fails, the studio’s support mail on the store page is [email protected].

Questions

What is the level cap?

Not published for Hood Warfare 2. A cap of 50 appears in a 2024 update for the original game and does not automatically apply here.

Should I start in Turf War or Chaos?

The store does not recommend one. GangBang is the simplest sentence: most kills wins. Turf War needs you to understand zones the store never diagrams.
